Targeted Youth Support Worker - Childrens Services - Islington

Our client in Islington are looking for a Targeted Youth Support Worker to join their childrens services working with young people aged 10-21(priority to under 19s) to build skills, resilience and enage in mainstream services and provision.

Your main job duties willl include;

• Working with colleagues to identify and track young people in need of targeted youth support
• Undertaking accurate and timely assemets with young people and their families
• Planning and delivering needs-led structured interventions (including behaviour contracts where required) in partnership with other colleagues and agencies
• Managing a caseload of up to 12 individuals at any given time.
• Ensuring that young people are supported to identify learning and be involved in the process of achieving both recorded and accredited outcomes.
• Keeping accurate and up to date records of work undertaken, decisions made, actions agreed and outcomes achieved  

You will need a relveant social work qualification (NVQ level 3) and post qualifying experience in a fieldwork setting.
